Original Painting on Canvas for the The Drop Cloth Series
My paper paintings from the last few months have been made with this canvas as a "drop cloth" under the paper. I've added some color to the lines and blobs of color left from the original paintings to create these four paintings from the canvas. They are basically all happenstance with about 12% planning thrown in at the end. I loved the process of these and also the result.
These paintings can be hung as is or framed in a traditional frame with glass - the canvas was not intended to be stretched on a frame.
Images are photographed to match the original painting but slight variances may occur.
